Blogging System
Language: PHP
Goal: Create multi-user blogging system capable of handling 1,000,000+ users per day while tying into customers existing portal system.
Base System: WordPress Multi-user
Key Changes:

1. Complete rework of database structure. WordPress Multi-user normally creates a minimum of 7 tables per user. For 1,000,000+ users that would mean 7,000,000+ database tables. Our redesign reduced the 7,000,000+ tables needed to 10 tables total no matter how many users they had.
2. Make system scalable to work on 40 web servers and 10 database servers located on 4 different continents in 7 different countries world-wide.
3. Heavily modify administration panel to give users a simpler, less overwhelming interface.
